For those of you that are new to CEO – VITA is a FREE volunteer driven income tax assistance program for any individual or household that made less than $67,000 in 2024. CEO has administered the VITA program for many years in collaboration with the United Way with the support of a handful of qualified community volunteer tax preparers each year. Our VITA program is one in a number of Capital Region programs. For more details on other Capital Region programs, please see the attached IRS Flyer. The VITA program brings hundreds of thousands of tax refund dollars back into local economies and supports thousands of eligible individuals with filing and accessing their tax refunds for FREE, annually.
This year the CEO VITA program will offer in-person appointments from 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM, in the CRC Bridge Rensselaer Conference Room every Wednesday beginning 1/29 – 4/9. To schedule an in-person appointment people should call 518-272-6012 and select X 333 as highlighted in the In-Person appointment flyer below.
We are also offering virtual appointments via GetYourRefund.org/uwgcr-ceo and/or by scanning a QR code. Both available in the virtual flyers below.
Please be sure to post, share, distribute, and make accessible the flyers below to enrolled and visiting CEO customers, community partners, and applicable community boards. Also feel free to repost circulating CEO VITA social media posts.
Make note – Many CEO employees may be eligible for this program. If the Wednesday hours cannot work for you, perhaps the virtual option would be a great fit!
