We are excited to announce that we have begun taking appointments for our VITA free tax preparation services. Appointments will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30pm-6:30pm from Tuesday January 21st through Tuesday April 14th. Appointments are now being accepted through both our Program Specialist, Pam Ciano, as well as our Community Connections Specialist, Kathleen Hernandez.
Eligibility criteria:
- HH income of $56,000 or less

Using the CEO VITA site will help customers get the most out of their tax credits and returns so please encourage customers to take advantage of this great service. Attached you will find flyers for each local county, please feel free to post or distribute to help spread the word.
We are currently looking for a volunteer VITA greeter for Thursdays throughout tax season from 3pm-7pm. The VITA greeter role assists with welcoming customers, ensuring they have all required documents, and giving out a packet that the customer must complete before they can begin their tax preparation. The VITA greeter takes a simple code of ethics test and is a valuable asset to the customer service during the tax season. The greeter hours can be flexible whether the volunteer would like to participate in volunteering some, or all of, the tax prep nights.
