We wanted to send out a reminder regarding CEO’s COVID protocol for staff that test positive. All staff will continue to be required to contact Tia Nunziato (tnunziato@ceoempowers.org or 518-272-6012 ext. 283) or Alyssa Garner (agarner@ceoempowers.org or 518-272-6012 ext. 422) if they test positive for COVID and also immediately notify their supervisor.
Once HR is notified of a positive COVID case we follow up with the staff member via a phone call to provide guidance on returning to work in accordance with the updated CDC guidance.
The following protocols will be followed for staff testing positive for Covid-19:
Positive COVID Test Protocols for Asymptomatic (no symptoms) Individuals:
- Employees will not need to observe a quarantine period but will be required to wear a mask for 5 days after positive test results are received. Interactions with others must be limited to the best of your ability.
Positive COVID Test Protocols for Symptomatic Individuals:
- Staff will be required to stay home until at least 24 hours have passed where both their symptoms are getting better overall, and they have not had a fever without the use of fever-reducing medication. Once this period passes, the individual can return to work and will be required to wear a mask for 5 days from the day symptoms began.
