FCCRA COVID Leave Update

Jul 26, 2021 | COVID-19

As we reach the middle of July, fall is just around the corner. With that season fast approaching, we felt it important to remind staff that the FFRCA COVID paid sick leave and expanded FMLA regulations are scheduled to expire on September 30, 2021. This means that there will no longer be paid FFRCA leave automatically available for COVID-related absences, quarantines or COVID-related school closures.

While we are all starting to experience life in a post pandemic manner and we remain hopeful that as the year continues to play out, we will experience fewer and fewer COVID-related impacts. COVID-19 continues to be a challenge for many communities. The single most effective and important step you can take is to get vaccinated, this should also reduce the possibility that you will require any paid leave protections.

For those who remain unvaccinated, same day appointments are available at most locations at this time.
