CEO has backpacks to distribute to help students be successful as they navigate this unusual academic year 2020-2021.
Eligibility is as follows:
- Families must live in Rensselaer County or have participated in a CEO program within the last 12 months (Food Pantry, WIC, Head Start, Weatherization, etc.)
- Children must be heading into Kindergarden-6th grade.
Required paperwork (must be shared as a part of the intake):
- Proof of Income (prior month worth of paystubs, SSI letter, TANF award letter etc.)
- Address/birth date of parent and name/age/grade of children will be collected during intake.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, intakes are being completed via phone M-F between 8:30am-4pm. Call Bernard Bennett, Community CARES Specialist at (518)272-6012 ext. 302.
Once the intake is complete customers will arrange a pick up time with Bernard, backpacks can be picked up at the front door of CRC (2328 5th Ave, Troy NY, 12180) in a contactless manner.
