To All CEO Staff:
The emergency alerts that occurred throughout our nation in recent days have confirmed that CEO must have a plan for Emergency Shelter in Place (Lockdown) situations. Until we have a system in place for a more permanent and farther-reaching capacity, please reference the attached procedure. ECS staff and locations currently practice Lockdown drills; we will add all other programs and agency staff to these drills once training has been conducted. Prior to initial the training, I will visit each non-ECS suite/office to determine the appropriate lockdown area. Trainings for all staff/locations will occur early next week.
We will be turning the attached procedure into a smaller, quick reference card to be laminated and kept by all desk phones. These quick reference cards will be distributed as soon as possible. Until then, please print the below document and keep it near your desk phone.
We want to reiterate that your safety, as well as the safety of our customers, is our highest priority.
