CEO needs your help- tell Congress to invest in Head Start to make staff salaries more competitive nationwide!
Take two minutes to email your members of Congress and urge them to support an increase in Head Start funding in Fiscal year 2025.
Congress recently passed a Continuing Resolution that extends Head Start funding at Fiscal Year 2024 levels through December 20, 2024. But when Congress returns to Washington following the election, we need it to pass a budget that includes significantly increased funding for Head Start in 2025. Head Start serves children and families in every congressional district in our country. Increasingly, however, Head Start is being made available to fewer and fewer children because early childhood educators–after years of often poverty-level wages–are looking for careers elsewhere. Help us increase Head Start’s budget nationwide and ensure that millions of children and families continue to succeed through early learning opportunities that prepare them for future success.
