As you may have noticed, there have been green Waste Management recycling bins placed at your work sites. Please utilize this recycling opportunity to the best of your ability. Below you will find a PDF with some guidelines to reference.

Here are some very important tidbits:

• Paper and cardboard must be dry and free of food debris.
• Tissues, paper towels or other paper that has been in contact with food is not acceptable.
• Make sure food contamination and caps are removed from cans and plastics and all containers are empty.
• Separate plastic lids from plastic bottles (often made from different materials).

The cleanliness of the items being recycled has been stressed to us by Waste Management as well as our Facilities team, as we don’t want to cause an insect problem by less than clean recycling products being placed in the bins.
