We are excited to announce that CEO is joining forces with Unity House and the Regional Food Bank of Northeaster NY to offer Thanksgiving food packages for our customers. CEO has enough baskets reserved to serve roughly 130-150 families. Distribution will take place on Saturday November 23rd, location and time details to follow.

Here is the eligibility criteria that must be met:

• Customers must have used at least one CEO service within the last 12 months
• Customers must be in a household of 2 or more
• Households of 5+ will be eligible to receive 2 Food packages
• Limit is 2 food packages
• Households must complete a TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistant Program) Attestation of Eligibility form

Households will receive typical Thanksgiving pantry staples, fresh produce, a Stewarts egg card, a Stewarts milk card, and a 11-13 lb. Turkey. Intake will be conducted digitally, no walk-ins.

Below is a flyer with the Q-R code that can be posted in your building (please do not mass produce and send out in backpacks or to all families). Once the application is complete customers will receive a confirmation email with the details of the food package and the date, time, and location for pick-up. If any customer expresses issues with this digital sign-up process, please email their name and phone number to cares@ceoempowers.org so we can follow-up.

Sign-up starts today Tuesday October 15th. There are a limited number of food packages available, so our neediest customers and customers who express interest should be encouraged to enroll as soon as possible.  

Customers can also sign up and reserve a package(s) at Unity House if they meet the criteria outlined by Unity House.

One person households can be referred to the Food Pantry or they can reach out to Marly at the Front Desk. We have a limited number of single household baskets that will be distributed separately out of CRC.
