As a reminder, the agency will be closed on Monday, June 20th in observance of Juneteenth. This national holiday is to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the US and we hope that you will take some time to enjoy the many events and opportunities throughout the Capital District to celebrate African American Culture all weekend long.
Additionally, I’m pleased to share that we have decided to extend the Fourth of July holiday to include Friday, July 1st, and Monday, July 4th.
During these extraordinary times, your efforts to help the agency navigate the ongoing service delivery challenges and Covid aftermath have been appreciated. We know that time off is important and we have worked hard to identify additional opportunities for early or extended weekends throughout the year so you can unplug or disconnect from work.
As your Administrative Team, we are continuously evaluating ways to support your well-being and promote a healthy work environment while also working to meet the needs of the communities we serve. Thank you for being part of the CEO Team!
Happy Friday! (or FRI-YAY, as we like to call it!)
