It’s National Nutrition Month. Nutrition is so important for pregnant and nursing mothers, postpartum women, infants, and small children. It is during these life stages that access to healthy food is needed most. Our WIC program offers nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and access to healthy food. For National Nutrition Month this March, WIC is offering a few community programs to help educate the community on nutrition at the WIC offices in the Community Resource Center on 2328 Fifth Ave in Troy.
