Based on recent guidance from NYS and Local Department of Health, CEO has updated our Covid-19 Health and Safety protocols. As you are all aware, responding to the ever changing nature of this pandemic is a challenge that is extremely dependent on everyone doing their part to minimize the spread. The highly contagious nature of this particular variant makes it necessary to remind everyone about the importance of wearing a well-fitting mask at all times when interacting with others, walking in any common spaces or within the community, and staying home if you are experiencing any cold-like symptoms.
I would like to share that we currently have a limited supply of Home/Rapid test available for staff who are concerned about an exposure or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms. Although these home test are only considered a “screening tool” by the local DOH (at this time), it can be helpful while you pursue an official test, if necessary. As well as some KN95 masks to be used by anyone who is deemed eligible for the shortened quarantine period. Please reach out to HR for a test kit and/or masks.
